About Me

I've always loved fashion. I went back to school for Fashion Merchandising and Marketing a couple of months before I got pregnant with my first child back in 2011. I love that through fashion, one can express so much to the world—your preferences, your outlook, your mood, your favorite colors. The sky is the limit.

The idea for MissTeacher.Shop was a culmination of my career in retail as a category manager and buyer for several large retail establishments and my involvement in my husband's advertising and marketing agency. I put a lot of thought into how I could use my skills to create a brand that does good and makes clients feel confident in their decisions and empowered to develop their own styles.

So much of what I see online force feeds customers to choose whatever is being pushed without much in the way of options. This leaves people in cookie-cutter designs without much originality and no room for expressing oneself. I chose to focus on teachers because they are the backbone of our society. We cannot underestimate the importance of their contribution. I created an affordable, cohesive, and curated collection to be accessible to all teachers. My goal is to have this be the one-stop shop for teacher wardrobe needs.
